Customer feedback from wedding

Our wedding at your hotel, the ceremony, the reception and the evening celebration, were perfect. The weather was also perfect and after our experience of your staff at the hotel, we began to suspect that you had arranged that as well.

 

All the staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. The Food and Beverage Manager controlled events extremely well and is clearly very good at his job. The head Chef produced the top quality food we have come to expect at the hotel. Many of the guests were extremely complimentary about the hotel and its staff. Indeed one of Alison’s colleagues has booked their Christmas shindig there. We may have commented that David’s stock in trade is Human Resources – you do not get staff as well selected, trained and motivated as yours are by accident.

 

Please, therefore, extend our grateful thanks and appreciation for all the hard work of all the people at the hotel. Living as close to you as we do, we shall certainly be seeing you again.

We recently stayed at the Lambert Arms to celebrate the wedding.

We would like to thank everyone for all the attention and hard work that they put in to making our visit stay such a pleasant occasion. 

Upon arrival the receptionist rang our room to check that everything was OK, this was a nice touch I found the duvet very hot, when the girls were making up the room in the morning I told the housekeeper this, she didn’t have a lighter duvet, but made up the bed puting a sheet between the duvet which was perfect

Customer feedback from Christmas Accommodation Package at The Lambert Arms

We returned to The Lambert Arms for the Christmas Package, having had a two night break there in the summer. We had a fantastic time - relaxed, ate and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Our girls, aged 12 and 5 were made to feel very special and were best friends with Leon by the end of the stay. We even chose to stay an extra night! We're definitely returning next year.

This is our second Christmas function that we have held at The Lambert Arms and yet again, I can only give high praise for the impeccable food, service and venue. We all had a wonderful evening (26 of us) and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our function - we will most certainly return in 2010 - thank you to all concerned.

Just a quick note to thank yourself and the whole team at The Lambert Arms for providing 78 of us with yet another great Christmas Party on Saturday 28th November 2009. I have to be honest as this is something I organise for friends it could never happen without the support, flexibility, understanding and patience of the Events Manager at The Lambert Arms. The food and service was again excellent and I have had nothing but thanks from everyone.

- Great party! Really enjoyed ourselves. Shame the evening went so quickly, although the after party went on and on and on.
- Thanks very much for your hard work in organising the event, we had a great evening. The food was delicious and everything was very well co-coordinated.

I just want to say thank you for helping organise Martyn's party. He was very surprised, and very happy. The room was wonderful - just the right size for the number of people. The staff were attentive. The food was, of course, excellent. We all had a wonderful time.

We would like to thank all the staff for helping to make the 70th Birthday Celebrations on the 14th March so special. The food was excellent and all the staff that worked that night (and into the morning) were cheerful and very friendly. The disco you recommended hit the right note. In fact we could not fault a thing. Everyone who stayed overnight were very complimentary of the accommodation, our room was lovely. Once again, thank you.

There were many complimentary comments about both the food and the venue, indeed one member of our party was sufficiently impressed to ask for a brochure on their way out, no doubt with a future function of their own in mind. My grateful thanks to you for the arrangements in advance which ensured that everyone received their choice of course on the day with no problems.

I would just like to thank you and all the staff at The Lambert Arms for a wonderful weekend break. We have just stayed with you for the Valentines special and had a very comfortable stay with an outstanding meal. Without exception the staff were all very friendly but professional at all times, not something you find very often these days! On what can be a night where you are hurried along to make way for the next booking we did not feel rushed even though you and your army were clearly working very hard in the background, we were able to enjoy a lovely evening.

On behalf of me and the 47 friends who attended the Christmas Party on Friday 5th December 2008 I would like to take this opportunity to say the following: -

- The support from The Lambert Arms in the organisation of the event from the outset was first class. Clare Cook the events coordinator was just brilliant.

- The food given that you were serving what must have been in excess of 120 people on the night was of a very high standard.

- The service was fast and efficient and the team of young waiting staff were courteous and always very helpful.

At £25 per head I would challenge anyone to find a better Xmas Party package than that offered by the Lambert Arms. I will certainly be eating at the Lambert Arms in the New Year and I suspect I will be looking to secure a date for next years Christmas Party very soon. Once again a huge thank you to all at The Lambert Arms for making the evening a great success

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for making the 50th Birthday Dinner such a memorable occasion. You have been extremely helpful in organising the whole event. All the staff made us feel relaxed and welcome, and went out of their way to oblige any of our requests on the evening.

The food was presented beautifully and was first class, many compliments to your head chef and his team. The sleeping accommodation was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and immaculate.

Our guests were all very impressed with the venue. All in all, we were able to relax and enjoy the occasion. We will certainly be recommending you to our friends and business colleagues, and you can be assured we will visit again soon.

We just wanted to say thank you to you and all the team at The Lambert Arms for helping us have a truly enjoyable party. Everything seemed to go without a hitch and effortlessly, but we know that was thanks to the work you all put in.

Having breakfast in the function room was an inspired thought, as it maintained the party atmosphere even longer for us all.

Many of our guests were extremely complimentary about the service from the staff, the quality of the hotel rooms and of the food, which all helped make it a memorable weekend.

I noticed on the Friday evening that some girls arrived late, the receptionist advised them that dinner would soon end, they went through to the dining room and she carried all of their luggage into the room behind the reception (quite a lot of luggage !)

I thought that the chap behind the bar worked incredibly hard – as did everyone, they were all very helpful and friendly

Everything in the bedrooms/bathroom got topped up water etc

I thought that the food was very good but you could make the portions a bit smaller (and save yourself money) as we couldn’t cope with pudding !

Everyone was very thoughtful and took time to make sure that we had everything that we needed.
